Artist of month creates sea glass jewelry
Danielle Renee Mullen was named October Artist of the Month by Mayor James Fiorentini.
Mullen is a sea glass jewelry artist using pieces she's collected on the beach. She started making her sea glass jewelry in 2005. The glass she uses is mostly from New England, but also from Hawaii, California, Washington, the Great Lakes, Canada, Puerto Rico, Bermuda and Nova Scotia.
She is a member of the North American Sea Glass Association and sells her pieces through her Web site, www.jewelrybydaniellerenee.com.
Mullen is an employee of the city and works at City Hall.
